Bordercross/Skiercross 1&2 @ Mount Southington is happening this Sunday!

We are currently anticipating a winter storm Saturday into Sunday, so prepare accordingly. WE ARE USASA SNE and rain or shine the events happen as long as we have snow and appropriate conditions. Parents, bring your umbrellas. Athletes, rain gear is highly recommended. We will have clear garbage bags available at registration on a first come first serve basis. A rainy event day can be the best day ever.

Registration closes Friday. Below is the tentative schedule and information. A detailed schedule and start list will be posted Saturday.

8:15 – 9:15. Check/Reg. Racing/Group Office
Lift Tickets. $50 for athletes & families & $10 MTSO pass holders
9 – 9:50 am inspection & practice
Location: Turkey Turn Trail
10 am Competitors meeting
10:20 start of time trials (approximately 1hr)
30 min break after time trials to make brackets
11:50 start of race 1
Fun Runs will be in effect for groups not requiring multiple heats
When Race 1 is finished we will start race # 2 (estimate 1 pm start)

Skiers must have approved style helmets and speed suits may not have pads.
