We made the decision with our MTSO partners this afternoon to postpone Sunday’s BX/SX events. The freezing rain forecast for Sunday creates a hazard for mountain employees traveling to work, not to mention competitors and families too. It is also one weather event that can make course conditions unpredictable. We can handle rain but hours of freezing rain on top of a few inches of snow is problematic. BX/SX 1 & 2 will be rescheduled to Saturday, March 1.

We can transfer existing registrations to the new event day. I’m sure some of you will have questions about refunds, etc., Please give us until Monday to sort this with the national office, so we will be able to advice you accordingly.
